Indie Studios Pull Public Demos Over Fears of AI Copycats
Alliance Arts cancelled the public demo of its game Drunken Goddess Reflux on 16 October 2026. The studio said AI tools could quickly copy the game's look and gameplay. It replaced the demo with a closed playtest, chosen by lottery, with rules against posting gameplay videos.
